Utah Jazz

The Utah Jazz are a professional basketball team based in Salt Lake City, Utah. They compete in the Western Conference of the National Basketball Association (NBA) and were founded in 1974 as an expansion team. The team originally played in New Orleans, Louisiana and was known as the New Orleans Jazz before moving to Utah in 1979. The Jazz have a strong basketball history, having made it to the playoffs over 30 times and winning two conference championships (in 1997 and 1998). The team plays its home games at Vivint Arena, which has a capacity of over 18,000 spectators. The Jazz’s colors are navy blue, green, yellow, and white, and their mascot is a bear named Jazz Bear.
